First: I love Apple. But for time to time, they make me such kind of bloody angry… I now use Mac’s for about 9 years and until now I bought 5 Mac at all: a PowerMac 9500/200, a PowerMac G4 800, a 12″ PowerBook G4 866, a PowerMac G5 1.8 and now a 15″ Powerbook G4 1.67. And for all of them I had to wait quite a long time to deliver (except the G4 800 which was in stock of my local dealer).

I admit I am a very impatitient person regarding new tech stuff but the behaviour that Apple shows is more than I want to accept. Not enough that you spent a lot of money for a new Mac but you have to wait for it weeks and weeks. That is not up to today’s business standard, I think. Even the PC rival DELL delivers its stuff faster.

I can accept one week for an individual built Mac but a standard-featured Mac should really be faster at the retailers. And my retailer insists that he is not to blame.

So Apple, please, speed up the build-process, QA and delivery. There are people out there waiting for new toys.
